  1. Hey ladies,
Can we also use this technique to make croutons? Just sprinkling a few herbs and baking it in toaster oven? Do you think we can get the texture of croutons that way?

  2. hi girls!
i am a great fan of ur cooking.could u please demonstrate how 2 use the different modes of a microwave oven, like grilling,pre-heating,etc and how to cook simple recipes like plain rice, daal, subzi, etc.

Had posted this question before but was left unanswered!!!

    1. Hi Gayatri,

All microwaves are so different so it’s very hard to demonstrate different modes. Your instruction booklet will be your best guide. If you don’t have one, you can look it up online with your brand and model #.

  3. Hello Hetal and Anuja,
Loving all of your recipes, they turn out well. Just wanted to share one thing with you guys, I dont know it may sound silly but I liked it so just wanted to share it with you too.Just ignore it if you do not like it. Whenever I am left out with extra daal and no rice, the thing I do is make a snack out of it by simply adding kurmure(mamra) and sev on top of it(not to mix it but just put on top) and dress it with mint chutney and ketchup. I find it real good stomach filling snack and the way to use the leftover daal.

    1. Hi Nirja

Sounds excellent! So you get that wonderful crunch from the mamra and the sev and I am sure the chutney adds a new dimension to the daal. And what a great way to finish up leaftovers.
      Thanks for sharing!

  4. I hope they’ll put up the video soon since the summer is coming up and people will be cooking burgers a lot..just wait…right ladies?? 🙂

  5. sorry, my question is not related to bread crumbs, but about paneer makhani dish, that is can i use canned tomato puree instead of canned crushed tomato? or it will alter the test?.

  6. Nice tip! Whenever I need bread crumbs I just pop some bread in the toaster and crush it. Yours is a great idea if bread is going stale and you just want to save it for future. Thanks!

  7. Hi Hetal ,Anuja,

Great tip ! Even I could not believe that they could be done in a microwave ! Thank you so much. Could you also show us a tip on how to sharpen kitchen knives ?

  9. Unrelated question:
I would like to know from where have you bought the table cloth? (Please don’t say India 🙂 )

    1. Hi Swarna,

They don’t need to be refrigerated, they can sit on your pantry shelf. However, if don’t think you’ll use it for a while, then it’s ok to refrigerate them in an airtight container.
