    1. Hi Cyndi,

You can take put the frozen burger directly on a lightly oiled skillet on low heat. It should heat all the way through.

  1. I was really excited to make this! But when I was done they kept falling apart and were nice and toasty on the outside but mushy on the inside. Any ideas how i can fix it? The only thing I excluded was the Soy Granules. I tried to bake them but nothing changed much.

    1. Hi Sonny,

It may have something to do with how you processed the ingredients. If you over process it, it will become mushy. The egg in the recipe is used as a binding agent. Did you let the patties rest in the fridge for 30 mins before proceeding?

  2. Hi gals,
I made these burgers today and they are OMG! Awesome!!
I didn’t find any black beans in the stores,so I used chickpeas instead. Also I added some wheat germ,1 grated pickled beetroot to the veggie mixture. It was very nice and didn’t fall apart which I was bit worried. The rest of the patties are in the freezer, can’t wait to finish it.

Thanks for a very good recipe.

  3. Hi Ladies! Hello from Portugal!

I made these burgers today for dinner and they are amazing! We absolutely loved them! I’ve tried a bunch of other black beans burger recipes and they all had one major flaw, they were just too dry, and also they would break easily while frying. And yours aren’t dry at all and are so easy to fry. They are full of flavor and so worth the extra effort! Thank you so much!

    1. Hi Divyana,

We have not personally tried EnerG-egg replacer but some people say it works great. Don’t think you would have to use baking soda/powder.
