After a visit to the amazing Santa Monica Farmers Market (California), I was inspired to make a fresh Peach and Ginger Lassi. Though mango is the typical ingredient for a sweet lassi, peaches are a great substitute. Try both the sweet and savory version of this versatile lassi recipe.
Peach – 1
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Mint Leaves – few
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Water – approx 1/2 cup depending on desired consistency.
Ice – few cubes
For Sweet Lassi, Add:
Honey – to taste
Salt – pinch
For Savory Lassi, Add:
Salt – to taste
Lime Juice – to taste
Chili – any type, to taste
Grind all of the ingredients into a smooth consistency.

Please ban any more comments you get from Bhola Punda Panda whatever the heck the name is. I havent tried the receipe must the flavor of peach and ginger being together is intriguing. Will try it soon. Keep up.
Hello, can we use strawberry instead of peaches?
Hello, can we use strawberry instead of peaches?
I enjoyed watching this video and plan to try this soon! I generally miss seeing Anuja with you but today with the new place and very interesting recipe, there were enough things to distract me from missing her 🙂
Past few videos were just about okay but I liked this one. I know it will take some time to have get used to making solo videos and it is not easy but many of us do appreciate this website.
Best wishes to both of you.
I have seen grossly obscene comments in the past written by ‘Bhola Bhala Panda Poonda’. We have another strongly negative comment this time. I believe, this is someone who is jealous of the success of these two very enterprising women and is trying his/her best to bring them down. Hetal/Anuja, you should block this person entirely.
Regarding the peach lassi, I haven’t tried making it, but it does look worth a try. IMO, Hetal’s video is well made and has just the right amount of verbosity to keep it lively and interesting.
delicious..i am going to try this..btw,what knife r u using??looks good..is that a knife to cut fruits??
I am fan of smoothi and lassie.I liked this sweet lassie. All your receip are good. Thanks for sharring.
I’d never considered sticking peach in a smoothie, but now I will. Gotta try new things I guess.
Hi Hetal and Anuja, I have been a fan of your recipes. I enjoyed quite a few recipes on your website and most of all, have loved your presentations. But I am a little disappointed off late on the presentation part. Since you have been doing videos separately, Hetals videos need a lot of editing. They are too long with too much description which is unnecessary. This is a positive criticism so that you can improve and make the videos interesting again. Good luck!
I loved the savory version, I am not a big fan of peach, but the ginger, mint and heat made it amazing!!! Different than the plain ole jeera+salt lassi.
My husband had the sweet version, and he found it good too!!
The big part is I am glad to find an alternative to the big can of sugar we get in the name of mango pulp.
Great going Hetal 🙂
Please be respectful while commenting. Most of the recipes are good but one can always alter the taste to your liking. What’s gross to one may be delicious to someone else. But overall Lassi is basically a lighter “indian version smoothie”.
Sorry Hetal and Anuja but this was a FAILURE. This tastes soo gross, that it made me puke all over the place. So.. sorry will NOT be making any of your recipes ever again.
Are you kidding? Grow up.
