Yesterday I had fast and so I decided to make rajagra kheer, a very simple and easy farali recipe.My Grandma usually make this recipe when we used to have fast for Janmashtami, Ramnavmi etc..Its difficult to find here whole rajagro but fortunately I got it last week from one of the Indian Store.So finally yesterday I made it .So here's wat u need ...
serves:2
2 cups milk
1/4 cup Whole Rajagro
sugar to taste
pinch of cardamom powder
1 tblsp of sliced cashews and almonds
How to-
1 Take a medium pan and place on heat and wait till its nice and hot ..Now put 1/4 tblsp of rajagro in hot pan and with a thick cotton cloth press rajaro slowly at a time and rajaro will pop up ,it will turn out white. Then remove from the pan immediately otherwise it will burn ..(that the reason why we put very little amount of rajagro in the pan.)
2 On the other hand take other nonstick pan and mix milk and sugar and stir at a time.
3 After completing the whole batch of rajagro,mix it with the milk and sugar mixture and bring it to nice boil till it gets thicken .(consistency is upto u)
4 Add cardamom powder , cashews and almonds and mix well.
5 Serve hot or cold.
